I'm still alive, don't you worry. For the past 13 days I did not update my blog, there were so much things going on. Chinese New Year gathering, Valentine's Day and the last day of school. So this is going to be a long post. Good for you if you're able to survive till the end without pressing the white cross with red background at the top right corner. Let's get started then!!!
Chinese New Year gathering
If you've been reading my blog since few years ago/following me on Twitter & Instagram, you should know that it's a yearly thing to go and bai nian with my favourite people in secondary school. This idea started out back in 2011, when someone suggested to go bai nian so that we can get more ang baos. You may think that it's kind of stupid and immature. Us...in the past. Oh well, I can say that it's more than just getting more ang baos now because some of us left swiss and got into poly. We rarely see each other anymore.
This gathering has become something more precious because we all got to spend time with each other and it's really great to see that everybody is willing to take time off from everything and just get together. Anyway, it had since became an every year thing. We've said before that even if a lot of us couldn't make it, we'll still carry on with it. I was actually surprised that my mum actually recognises the girls and some of the guys even though she had not seen them for the past one year.
Time for photos~
Received our early Valentine's Day chocos from WenTing! O M G, LOOK AT THOSE WHITE CHOCOLATES I GOT FROM HER, HEAVENLY.
The usual clique photo in my bedroom.
Let me present to all of you, Nicholas's little brother! He is clearly a definition of a cutie pie. Ever since he was born, he's been receiving lots of love from all of us. The girls always playing with him and the guys using him to disturb Nicholas but still play with him. Anyway, now that he can walk, he's even more cute! Took this picture when he suddenly walked up the stairs and started taking out his socks from his shoes, gave them to Victoria, stuck out his leg for her to help him put on his socks and shoes. As for WenTing, i think he sees her as a monster now.
Our group photo without Darren because he had to leave early for his dad's birthday celebration.
Stayed on with the guys while the girls left early for their own family gatherings and I found out a lot about a friend of mine. Well, used to be a friend of mine. Somehow, I kinda feel sad for her that her life is so screwed up.. Nah, not gonna blog about her story but I can say that she is no longer the same person I used to see her as.
Valentine's Day
IT'S MY FAVOURITE DAY OF THE YEAR OTHER THAN CHRISTMASSSSS! Because on this day, I'll be receiving lots of sweets and chocolates from my friends! Yes, from my friends. Every Valentine's Day, I'll be with my friends. #novalentinenoproblem But this year, I have someone special to celebrate with! Anyway, it has became an every year thing to prepare a small gift for my friends on this special day. Who says that you can only celebrate it with your other half? Show some love to your friends too!
The day before, me and D went to IKEA Tampines to satisfy my meatballs craving and while walking around, I thought we could get something for our friends. So we got green apple scented candles and candle holders. It looks so classy I swear. Had never bought anything from IKEA before but every time I'm there, I'll see lots of pretty things and the best thing is, it's super affordable! Just candles and candle holders won't do, because 'WHAT IS VALENTINE'S DAY WHEN YOU DON'T HAVE CANDIES AND CHOCOLATES?!'. As many of you may know, there's a huge GIANT outlet just opposite IKEA. Was super excited because it's my first time there. Can't blame me, I live in the west area! Got our candies and went over to D's place to pack everything properly.
I really enjoy giving presents to my friends more than receiving presents from them. The sincere 'thank you' from them and sometimes a warm hug is more than enough. Anyway, pictures of what I received from my poly friends!

In the evening, I met up with JinYan, Geraldine, Darren, YewRen, YuJin and YongSheng for dinner at Ssikkek BBQ at Junction10. Went to the United Square one before and their service was meh. But I'm glad that the service at Junction10 was a lot more better. For a Korean BBQ buffet, I think it is quite cheap already. But as for the food, I'm only a fan for their meat. Anyway, we went over to my house nearby playground to chat after dinner. Nicholas and Randolf joined us afterwards.
All of you may wonder why I haven't mentioned anything about what D did for me. To be honest, we're actually taking a 'break' in our relationship at that time. But we're still close and I was really angry at him for not wishing me 'Happy Valentine's Day', I'm fine with no gifts but at least wish me right? I've already planned out everything but he did not even show any signs that he was going to something!!! Told the girls when we were having dinner and they told me to just not buy anything for him. Yup, and I listened to them.
Regretted after that because he actually did planned a surprise. He contacted Randolf to help him out by telling me that he needs to go to the toilet. I said I'll wait outside because I was wearing my DrMarts and you know how troublesome it is to take off and wear back. But he insisted on me going in, then he walked towards my room and asked me to go in. Opened the door and D was there. What happened after that you shall not know, all I can say is that I'm thankful for everything and we're back together and everything is going well so far.
| Krispy Kreme, finally got to try it but I'm not a fan of the original flavour (SO DAMN SWEET!!!!!!!) |
| A pair of high-cut Converse which I've always wanted to get. Went to change to a black one. |
I love you, D!
Last Day of school
Thursday was my last day of school. My very first year in poly! Not as a Year1 student but as a PFP student a.k.a Year0. Of all numbers, 0. It was embarrassing at first because whenever we're around the school interviewing people and they asked us what course and year we're in, we'll say we're all from different courses and Year0. You should have seen their expressions. Some will just be like 'Oh, I see' and give that they must be crazy look but some nicer ones will ask what is PFP and all. I'm glad that we tried to make PFP be known in the school.
Cant believe that it's actually the end of PFP after we take our final assessments next week. No more Year0, no more staying in the same class for both semester. I'm glad that we did not have to change our classes every semester for PFP because we all became such great friends and we got to know each other better. I'm glad I have my group of closer friends in the class, friends who I can talk to about my problems and all. And I've learnt so much from each and everyone of you.
Four years in secondary school and I was always with the same group of people. Coming to poly without them was a bit difficult for me at first because they are just like my family but I have to say that I was looking forward to it too. Because I can meet new people and make new friends. The few days before orientation, I kept imagining my future classmates and all those stuffs. But in the end it turns out that we are all so hyper and all and we bonded real quick. Where else can I find such class whereby everybody is so enthusiastic?
Anyway, time for pictures. Warning: My smile may look awkward in some pictures because I have two huge ass ulcers (yup, I bit my lips while chewing and talking) & some pictures may be blurry
