Went to CCK library to get 'The Rape Of Nanking' and managed to read the introduction before I'm really tired out. All I can say is, I'm shocked. How could the Japanese at that time do all these torturous things to human beings?! I wonder what were they thinking at that point of time. They are not like this now, the Japanese now are so civilized. I don't hate Japan because of what they had done in the past (I LOVE SUSHI, A LOT!). I believe their descendants do realise that what their ancestors did was totally inhuman and that their ancestors were all guilty about what they had done to the people in Nanking.
Okay, enough about me ranting away about how inhuman the Japanese was during the World War II, back to topic, SATURDAY! As usual, band practice and I was not late! Was suppose to go for breakfast, but mom don't allow me to go cos I'm still under medication and recovering from my sore throat and cough. Shouldn't have told her that every Saturday I'll go Alif for prata. Anyway, if you guys have totally no idea where is Alif, its near Bukit Gombak mrt station, just beside Bukit Gombak Mcdonald's. I promise you, their prata is nice and its famous to all swiss students (except the Sec1s). Okayyyyyyyy, I'm actually promoting Alif on my blog.
Okay back to my typical Saturday. Went down for parade to rehearse for Chingay and really enjoyed myself! Trombones and French Horn row were really having fun, we're laughing all the way. Changes to our positions and movements for concert-y. Now it has become concert-t. Oh, I just found out today that the Trombone and French Horn section REALLY love doing domino turning! Maybe we're used to doing that cos we do that for every parade (well, except for NDP).
In case, you all haven't got inform about something: SWISS WINDS IS GONNA PERFORM FOR CHINGAY @ TAMAN JURONG! (: Kinda cool, though its not the main Chingay. But at least we got invited to perform.
Anyway, was suppose to go have Icekimo with Jinyan, Jolene and Victoria. But Jolene and Victoria couldn't make it last minute, and they miss out a good chance! ICEKIMO IS NICE! But its closing down tomorrow. My first time there and also my last. Tried earl grey tea for the first time, and i fell in love with it. And the guy who works there like quite cute too, and I asked a stupid question. I asked Jinyan before that but she didn't know how to describe. It seems that the guy also didn't know too, oh well... I asked 'what does earl grey tea taste like?'. If you think that I'm such a noob, go on. I rarely drink teas, its always been Starbucks's java chips. Next time, I'm gonna go try some other teas. So, Jinyan and I continued with what we've planned before cos I really don't want to miss a chance of trying something that my friend eats every weekend. Went in and its kinda like Bukit Batok's Frolick (just that there's no swing). And if you're wondering, I am a huge fan of yogurt icecream, especially Frolick! Ordered our banana split and we just sat down in the shop for like an hour plus just talking, eating and drinking. Woah, this is life! Really feel relax, no worries and no stress. Finally left, Jinyan taught me how to get home. Was really scared cos its my first time going to that place and I'm gonna be alone. Jinyan was too, she even suggested me to cab home. But I managed to get down at the correct stop and change to 190 and I got home safely. Thank you Jinyan for bringing me to have such a nice icecream before its gone forever (cos the owner didn't say anything about opening a new shop). Those who wants to have a taste of this icecream, HURRY UP! The shop is closing down tomorrow, 29th January at 10pm.

Anyway, I got so fascinated once I got onto 132, cos its a double -decker bus! Omg, all my life, I think I took those double-decker bus for like less than 10 times. Maybe I had taken them when I was younger, but I couldn't rememeber. Fascination = taking of photos. Something I love about iPhone, you have the front camera and its super useful at times. (:

Tomorrow is our annual CNY outing, this time with A LOT more people. Its gonna be fun like how it was last year.
