Yesterday, MdmNuraida told us about this book...................
May seem like just a normal book to most of you, but I'm actually interested in this! Okay, I sound weird. But i love reading history stories. But I never liked the fact that I will keep thinking a lot about it after i read finish. This book is about World War II, when the Japanese attacked Nanjing, China. This book actually consisted a lot of information about how the Japanese tortured the people of Nanjing. Killings and rapes and killing and rapes, day after day. The Yangtze River was even covered with dead bodies and blood! CAN YOU GUYS IMAGINE THAT?! Yes, it may seem like nothing. But if you read it, you'll truly understand why the Japanese are covering up till today. So learn from the past mistakes, NEVER START A WAR. Anyway, #peace! (:
Kinda sad though, because the author, Iris Chang, committed suicide. Went to google about her and they said that she can't forget about what she was told and got depression. Eventually, committing suicide. Not sure if its really true, but God bless her soul... This book is available at CCK library. Gonna go borrow it tomorrow, so shoo off to whoever wanna borrow it. Okay just joking, let me borrow it first please!
Anyway, we made Lemon Suffle today for F&N practical lesson! AND IT WENT OUT KINDA WELL! Cos its cooked. Took a picture of it (may not look nice, but it taste nice!).
Have yet to complete my Chinese holiday homework. Have to start on them now. Tomorrow is Friday, the usual thing, band practice. And I'm gonna go to the library and hope that the book is still available.
