As you all know, yesterday was the biannual Swiss Serenade 2012! It was a great and awesome concert. Thank you for coming and joining us as we go POP! for the first time, hope you guys all enjoyed it!
It was Jeremy's and Cheryl's birthday too, prepared some huge ass (okay, its not that huge, but its heavy) present for Cheryl. Had breakfast with a lot of people and all the Sec4s majors were there (ahhh, didn't take photo). :( We went off earlier and its the first time we actually can stroll to school. Run through the concert repertoire, lunch break and off to ACS (Barker Road). They separated the girls and the guys cos there were two rooms. The girls' room is super duper small please.... What a torture. The school is like freaking expensive!!!!!!!! One can of milo outside sell at 80cents, they sell at $1.30. Whattttttttt?!?!?!?! Hahahah, all the rich kids.... The food was great as compared to all the food we had for other performances. Took a photo of all our French Horns before the concert starts.
The time had come for the concert to start! The crowd started to enter the concert hall, before that I kept telling Ashwathy and Fiqri how nervous and scared I am for Amazing Grace. When the crowd came in, Fiqri started to get nervous too. First half of the concert went well. Interval time, Charman gave me a note that she wrote and the jie and kor from church who came gave me a beautiful bouquet of sunflower. Waited for the finale outside the concert hall. And its photo-taking time! I took my first photo with Adrian, before I step down! (: Everybody was so high when we played our finale item, Party Rock Anthem. I guess cos we shuffled. The class guys were sitting directly infront of me in the first row. Guess what, YongSheng actually took a video of me shuffling. How nice of him, Darren said I looked epic. Okay.........this is why I'm not a dancer. (: Went back to the girls' room to keep my instrument. I was bending down and when I got up, a bouquet of pink flowers appear right infront of me! And I see my three juniors smiling and laughing at me. Ahhhhhhh, so nice of them! They wrote me a card too, including the Sec1s! :o Had a nice long chat with Adrian and XingYuan. Been quite some time since I last sat down beside them and chat with them. Reached school and the Sec3s was planning to treat the Sec4s majors supper, but its too late already. So we only cut a cake which they had decorated on Friday. But sadly, the cake got a bit ruined, but still really appreciate their effort. Thank you so much! (:
Yesterday seems like as if all the Sec4s step down already, but we still have one more week. Our last week, last two band practices and one last performance with the band. I'll really miss my juniors..... My section, the incoming majors, Adrian, Clenn, Hugo, Cheryl, Jack, LiWen, LiJia and many more. I'll miss sitting at the section area with them around. Thank you all the teachers-in-charge for having patience with my batch. Thank you so much! (:
