Christmas Eve

As promised, I will blog about how I spent my Christmas. Firstly, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

I spent my Christmas Eve with my secondary school mates, and by secondary school mates, I meant the usual Chinese people (Sexy Six and Darren's clique). I used to blog about us going to each other's place to bai nian, getting ang baos and having steamboat dinner at someone's place. But never once did we celebrated/spent Christmas together. So this year is the first! It was more of like a gathering though.

Anyway, it was sort of a long day, but it was fun! Went to Jurong Point with my boyfriend first for lunch at Popeyes but we went our own ways after that to shop for each other's present. Wanted to go and do some manicure but I was tight on time and there would probably be lots of people waiting. So I ditched the idea of it and went to shop for boyfriend's present and also Adrian's birthday and Christmas present. Lucky guy, born on Christmas Eve. My birth date has no special background to it, the only thing I'm happy about with it is that I share the same birth date as Zac Efron. Good enough.

Back to topic, I was quite happy with myself that I managed to get so much stuffs within my $50 budget and still have money left. Planned out what I wanted to get beforehand. The sentence 'If you fail to plan, you plan to fail' is really true, and also time saving. Got all the things I wanted and went to Nicholas's house after that. Every gathering we have, it will be at Nicholas's house because we will not be afraid that there won't be space to fit everybody. Perks of living in a three storey plus a rooftop terrace house. We were all super disappointed with the delivery service of Sarpino's. Waited for almost 2 hours or maybe even longer than that for our food to arrive, Edwin couldn't even eat with us. But oh well, that was the only bad thing that happened. We organised the Secret Santa too, but it's a different method from the one I did with my class. We just draw numbers and get the present of the same number. I got JinYan's present which was a really pretty photo frame! Thank you!

Been quite some time since I last met up with the guys, and it was great to catch up with them too and also know how the girls are doing now. They're still the same, known them for 2/4 years. Most of them since Secondary 1 but some only during Secondary 3. Thank God for blessing me with this bunch of wonderful friends, really thankful!

Can't wait for the next gathering/outing with them again, and also Christmas plans later on! God bless, bye xx.
